Ah, so now you are checking MY attendance at church! I stopped going because YOU stopped going! Maybe we have just been there on different weeks? Maybe there are other churches that need my presence? Maybe the music at your church ain’t contemporary enough to make me want to hang around?
No really, I have been rather busy- can’t be everywhere at once… oops! hang on, I can, can’t I! There you go. I have no excuse.
Church buildings are made for people to hang out in, not me. Not to say I don’t pop in from time to time, but a bit presumptuous to think I am Baptist, don’t you think? This week I will be present at the local park. Go there, wait for me under a tree, lay down in the grass. I will be there.
Got to go now, heading to the pub tonight to catch up with some friends. Come along if you are free. My shout. BYO water, I will look after the rest.

I like your thoughts. I want to punch a few people too. Most of the US administration for a start. polygamy is bad bec too much bonking makes your willy sore, too many women makes your heart messed up, and too toothbrushes on the bathroom cabinet gets messy and gooey.

Well, let’s put it this way, bud: If God didn’t punish Eve (and subsequently, all womankind) with the discomforts of childbirth and menstruation, us DUDES would have to suffer through that.

So praise the Lord for coming up with that brilliant “apple” scheme and saddling womenfolk with the whole “baby” thing. Suckers!

In the last year I have thought about life without God. I have entred that room with no Jesus. I started to panic at one point. I have had little control over the things that matter to me in recent time. A time of waiting and hoping. I left that room. Closed the door behind me and decided to continue in faith.

I have always wondered about the character of children in heaven. If we develop our characters while we are on earth, what happens when a young child or baby has been taken before their time? Most people have decades of time and a multitude of experiences to develop character. What happens to the babies and young children?
And do children grow up in heaven? It may refer to children in the bible, but is there a time where they grow up and everyone levels out as adults?
Imagine being a child for eternity in heaven. That is a hell of a lot of icecream.
