I stopped going because YOU stopped going! Maybe we have just been there on different weeks? Maybe there are other churches that need my presence? Maybe the music at your church ain't contemporary enough to make me want to hang around? No really, I have been rather busy- can't be everywhere at once... oops! hang on, I can, can't I! There you go. I have no excuse. Church buildings are made for people to hang out in, not me. Not to say I don't pop in from time to time, but a bit presumptuous to think I am Baptist, don't you think? This week I will be present at the local park. Go there, wait for me under a tree, lay down in the grass. I will be there. Got to go now, heading to the pub tonight to catch up with some friends. Come along if you are free. My shout.
